New or Returning New Frontier Members

COVID-19 has closed both the Dobson-Southern and Red Mountain Campuses until further notice. The annual fee for the 2020/2021 semesters is $60. All new and returning New Frontier members are encouraged to pay their membership ONLINE.

Completing the Admissions Application to become a New Frontiers member 

  • If you are interested in becoming a member of New Frontiers, you must complete a Maricopa Community Colleges (MCC) Admissions Application. Select the apply now for "Community Education."

  • You will be asked to submit a government issued ID. Detailed steps are provided during the application process.

  • Upon completion the admissions application, it takes approximately 30 minutes for the system to confirm your acceptance as a new non-credit student

  • A UserID/MEID and Password will be emailed to you. The default password needs to changed when logging for the first time to the Student Information System (SIS).

Paying the Enrollment fee of $40 Online using the Student Information System (SIS) for the Spring/Summer 2021 semester

  • The enrollment process may be done anytime online. Allow about 30 minutes to complete all the steps.

  • The New Frontiers Spring/Summer class number is 33348 SENIORS100-10346

  • Detailed instructions for enrolling online available as a PDF file: Paying "joining/enrolling fee" online (revise August 2, 2020). Review the steps before beginning the enrolling and payment process. There about 20 steps/screen shots but do not be intimidated. Pay special attention to Step 9, pop-up/ad blocker.

    Special note for Step 9: Depending upon your computer system, you probably have to disable your pop-up/ad blocker before viewing payment options.

    Follows are three possible sources to temporary disable your pop-up blocker when paying through the Student Information System (SIS).

    After disabling your pop-up/ad blocker, try refreshing the screen. Do not forget to enable the pop-up/ad blocker when you are finished paying.

    1. Enrolling through the Student Information System (SIS) is recommended for returning members who know their MEID number and password. There are prompts to assist in recovering this information. Please record this information for future use.

    2. If you enroll online for the NFLL class and do not pay the fee within 24 hours, you are dropped and must repeat the enrollment procedures. 

    3. If you missed three consecutive online enrollment cycles, your MEID account and password is inactivated. You must call the College Help Desk Services at 480 461-7217. They are available 24/7 to help reactivate your account.
