New or Returning New Frontier Members

Completing a Maricopa Community Colleges (MCC) Admissions Application as a Non-Credit student for new members and paying the membership fee directly to the community college.

Upon completion the admissions application, it takes approximately 30 minutes for the system to confirm your acceptance as a new non-credit student.
Members register for New Frontiers classes independent of MCC.

    The easiest method to enroll in New Frontiers is to visit either the Mesa Community College Southern & Dobson or Red Mountain Campus. There are staff members available to assist in the enrollment process whether you are new or renewing your membership.

  • Enroll Online using the MCC Student Information System (SIS)
  • Enrolling through the Student Information System (SIS) is recommended for returning members who know their MEID number and password. There are prompts to assist in recovering this information. Please record this information for future use. 

    If you register online for the NFLL class and do not pay the enrollment fee within 24 hours, you are dropped and must repeat the enrollment procedures.

    If you miss three consecutive online enrollment cycles, your MEID account and password is inactivated. You must call the Helpdesk at 480 461-7217, they are available 24/7/365, to reactivate your account.

Enrolling at the MCC Southern & Dobson or Red Mountain Campus

Visit the Enrollment Center, our one-stop-shop for all your enrollment needs. Upon entering you will be welcomed by MCC employees identified by wearing name tags on lanyards. They will direct you on how best to get started and guide you through the process.

  1. Bring your valid government-issued photo ID. Please keep in mind they may need to make a copy of your ID.
  2. Visit one of the two enrollment centers that is most convenient,
  3. There are people to help you if you are unsure what to do once you arrive.
  4. Tell the person at the desk you wish to sign-up and pay for New Frontiers Fall 2020, class number "35149" SENIORS 100-10200. This class number changes changes each fall and spring session. Knowing your MEID or Student ID number will speed things up a bit.
  5. The annual membership costs $80.00 starting on August 1, 2020 and ending on July 31, 2021. Payment may be paid with cash, check, money order, or debit/credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express).
  6. Enrollment Center Hours,
    • Summer Business Hours: Mon-Thu: 7 am – 6 pm. Closed Fri, Sat and Sun.
    • Regular Business Hours: Mon-Thu: 8 am – 6 pm & Fri: 10 am – 5 pm. Closed Sat and Sun.
  7. Caution: Expect long waits in August when credit students are enrolling.

Enroll Online using the Student Information System (SIS) and pay the enrollment fee

The enrollment process may be done anytime on-line. Allow about 30 minutes to complete all the steps.

  1. Detailed instructions for enrolling on-line available as a PDF file: Paying "joining fees" on-line (revised Sep 10, 2019).
  2. To complete this process, you must have a Mesa Community MEID student account and a password to continue.
  3. If you are new to the enrollment process, keep these instructions open as you complete the steps.
  4. The non-credit seniors section number is: "35149" SENIORS 100-10200.
  5. For the start date click the calendar icon, and select August 10, 2020 or any later Monday.

Registering for New Frontiers Classes the Tuesday following the Open House

New or current members of New Frontiers are able to register for classes following the Open House.

The Open House is held once in the Fall (September) and Spring (January) semesters at either the Dobson & Southern or Red Mountain Campus. This is an excellent opportunity to preview classes of interest and meet fellow members.

New members are encouraged to create an account early before the Open House. Follow this link: New User Account and select "Start Here" directly below the Login.

To create a new account as a New Frontiers member, select the long blue login bar. Returning members, enter your username and password or select the long blue bar.

New members to New Frontiers, select "Create an Account"' in the gray box. Please enter all required information. Record your username and password for future logins.

Returning members, enter your username and password. If you forgot your password, select "Click here".
