Reporting Volunteer Hours
Volunteering is the gift that keeps on giving and New Frontiers members are generous givers. Please report your volunteer hours as soon as possible after the event. Send an email to Diane Batchlor and record your volunteer hours in the following three categories:
- NFLL (e.g. Facilitating, gatekeeping, gridmaster, attending meetings, writing communications, updating website, planning social events, working with presenters/speakers, planning the Open House, developing the class catalogue, etc.)
- MCC (e.g. We Care Wednesdays, Empty Bowls, tending the Rose Garden, etc.)
- Other (e.g. Volunteering within the community such as a food bank, library, police department, etc.)
Reporting volunteer hours is an essential and very important part of volunteering. New Frontiers uses this information when talking with MCC leadership and outside organizations to show how we are involved in NFLL and the community.
